October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month
Join The Center for Women and Families in our Love in a New Light campaign to raise awareness and critical funding to help keep programs free for nearly 7,000 individuals and their families experiencing domestic violence each year.
Intimate partner violence is a serious public health problem that affects millions of Americans. We all must do our part to support survivors and end the cycle of violence in our community and beyond.
Be an Everyday Advocate and show your support this October!
October 1 – 7, Light your building, business, spaces, or home PURPLE (the signature color to end Domestic Violence) and help us remember those we have lost to domestic violence this year, bring awareness to the issue, and provide hope to survivors.
October 9 at noon, Attend the virtual #EverydayAdvocate Luncheon to benefit The Center, with special guest speaker, Dr. Treva Hodges, Mayor of Charlestown, Indiana. Register HERE.
