My family recently visited The Ark Encounter, a full-size Noah's Ark built according to the dimensions given in the Bible's Book of Genesis. It spans 150 feet long, 85 feet wide, and 51 feet high. The largest timber-frame structure in the word sits among the beautiful rolling hills around Williamstown, Kentucky and offers a number of exhibits, restaurants, a playground, a petting zoo, and even zip lines. We had a fantastic time and definitely want to go back!
ChristmasTime at the Ark Encounter is becoming a Christmas tradition for so many families in Kentuckiana! Enjoy the spectacular Christmas video sharing the hope of Christmas and the life-size ark and gardens illuminated in rainbow-colored lights. Your family can also experience Ararat Ridge Zoo, festive food and drinks, traditional Christmas carols, a massive fair trade market and gift shop for Christmas shopping, and so much more! ChristmasTime runs Wednesday through Sunday evenings beginning at 5 p.m. (ET) from November 27 through December 20. And then every evening beginning at 5 p.m. from December 21–30 (closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day).
