Updated Summer Camp Information from The YMCA

June 8, 2020

We are looking forward to summer and we hope you are too! Now more than ever, we believe children will need the benefits that a summer at the Y can bring. Summer Adventure at the Y began in Clark County on May 18 and Floyd County on May 26.  Due to differing state guidelines, full-day summer programs in Louisville, KY will begin on June 15.

Children will still have the opportunity to make their summer active and fun through crafts, sports, indoor and outdoor games, new friends, and other fun ways to enjoy summer. We are committed to the Y’s core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility and creating an environment where every child feels included and has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive.

The Y is working diligently with safety as our guide in order to provide a  healthy environment in all of our child-serving programs. We have been working with internal experts, as well as local and state officials to  address issues related to social distancing, sanitizing requirements and  wellness checks for staff and participants. You can review our policies  to keep your children and our staff healthy this summer here.  Please keep in mind, these guidelines are subject to change based on  new information or additional guidance from health officials.

Check out our options for this year and pick the one that works best for your family! Register online today! We offer a full day of exciting activities for children ages 3-15.
