Summer Musical Arts Camp
Wall Street United Methodist Church is hosting a Summer Musical Arts Camp in Jeffersonville for children age 6 to those who have just completed 5th grade. Children will have fun with friends while putting together a musical, building music skills, playing games, learning to play an instrument, and growing in Bible knowledge. Camp runs June 15 - 19, 2020 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at Wall Street United Methodist Church. Cost for the week-long camp is $25 and includes morning snack and lunch.
Arts Academy
Wall Street United Methodist Church also hosts an annual Arts Academy each fall. Arts Academy includes a Community Children's Chorus for students in grades 2 - 6. The goal of the chorus is to bring children together to sing, learn musical skills, and fellowship. Children interested in joining the chorus must participate in an audition on September 14, 2020 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Rehearsals are Monday evenings from September 21 - November 30. Chorus performances are scheduled for December 4, 2020 at 7:00 pm and December 6, 2020 at 10:00 am.
Arts Academy also offers group piano lessons for ages 7 and up. Beginning students, experienced students, and adults are all welcome to participate in Piano Lab. Classes are held on Thursday evenings in 4-week sessions at a cost of $40. The first 4-week session will be held August 6 - 27, 2020. Registration is now open.
